Two of the area’s most popular courses include the Arnold Palmer designed Signature at Westneck and Virginia Beach National designed by Pete Dye. Located just a short one hour drive from the Virginia Beach oceanfront is Bay Creek a 36 hole golf resort featuring Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus designed courses. The Northern area's of Virginia around Front Royal and the higher elevations are a little cooler through the winner but are usually open in late February.
